和烹饪这门艺术一样,摄影的风格和趋势也在一直更新演变中,从当年流行的精食变成了现在新潮餐厅。光圈基金会(Aperture Foundation)新出的这本摄影术将广告和艺术结合,记载了从1900年到当代的食物摄影演变历史,绝对是一场视觉与味觉的盛宴。

闪亮苏珊(Susan Bright)是摄影书《眼睛的盛宴》(Feast for the Eyes)的作者,在书中用一系列让人垂涎不止的图像给观众从食物摄影这一运动的起源讲起,覆盖了食物摄影(food porn)这一产业的各种变迁演变。

至于食物摄影的美学价值,苏珊觉得,“食物摄影从来不只是吃的,它本身就是自成体系的一种摄影美学。” 食物的美,通过摄影这种艺术媒介,被体现得淋漓尽致。

“食物不仅是支持生命运转的必需品,它还是生命之光。” 苏珊继续解释道,“不同的食物摄影,意味着不同文化、希望、绝望甚至奢侈。最终,食物的意义不再仅限于它的味道本身,而是人们向往的生活方式与生活本身的 ‘味道’。”
